Early Years

We follow the EYFS statutory framework through a variety of engaging topics such as ‘Here we are’ (Looking after ourselves and our planet), ‘Curious about creatures’ (Animals and minibeasts) and ‘Make a Splash' (All about our oceans and seas).

Our learning is mainly play based with high quality continuous provision that enables the children to learn all aspects of the curriculum, try something new, grow in confidence and build good relationships with their peers and adults.

We work hard to give our pupils a wide range of life experiences – cooking and baking, exploring the nature, pond dipping, hatching ducks, growing butterflies, learning outside the classroom - and ensure that personal and social development is at the heart of everything we do.

If you have any questions about our Early Years provision at St Peter's, please contact our EYFS Coordinator, Miss Forrest, via admin@st-peters.towerhamlets.sch.uk - with the subject 'Early Years Questions'.
