Extended Services
At St Peter's, we offer wrap-around care including a Breakfast Club and afterschool Stay and Play provision.
Breakfast club
- Drop-off is at 8am - Monday to Friday
- Open to all pupils from Nursery to Year 6
- A healthy breakfast is served until 8:30am
- Children from Year 2 and KS2 have the opportunity to play sports until 9am in the KS2 playground
- We charge £4 per session based on parents committing to a half term schedule for their child/ren.
- Fees can be paid on-line or with childcare vouchers/tax free childcare.
Stay and Play (Play, snack, and 'wind-down')
- 3:30 to 5:30pm - Monday to Friday
- Open to all children from Nursery to Year 6
- We charge £10 per session based on parents committing to a half term schedule for their child/ren.
- Fees can be paid on-line or with childcare vouchers/tax free childcare.
Please note only one After School club booking and one Instrumental Lesson booking can be made per child to allow for all children to have extracurricular opportunities.
Beginner Instrumental Lessons
Instrumental lessons are taught at St Peters by the Tower Hamlets Music Service (THAMES) and are booked for the full academic year. For most instruments (not including keyboard) THAMES will loan your child the instrument for the year and they will be given a Practice Diary which serves as a communication tool between yourself and the tutor as we know that regular practice is key to progression.
The lessons below are for those starting a new instrument. If your child already learns an instrument at the school you will have received a confirmation of their new lesson time for that instrument, if you have not please do let us know.
As commitment is essential to learn any instrument, cancellations during the year will not be accepted. Payments are to be made at the start of each term via School Money.
Please note only one new Instrumental Lesson can be booked per child. If two are booked they will both be cancelled, this is to allow everyone the opportunity to learn an instrument.

School Choir
Our school choir is free to join and can be booked alongside an afterschool club and an instrumental lesson.
